EPSG Search

The EPSG Searcher is a tool that finds EPSG codes that are valid for a given latitude / longitude coordinate. Additionally, any number of keywords can be added to filter the results.

The EPSG codes that are selected are filtered. An EPSG code that exists might not be returned for any of the following reasons:

• The code is not in the EPSG Registry Database
• The code is not recommended
• The code has been replaced by another EPSG code
• The code has been deprecated
• The code covers an area of 10,000,000 km² or greater
• The code does not refer to a projected coordinate reference system
• The code does not have an associated proj4 string
